Friend or relative?

Being a friend, partner or relative to a person who sell sex could either be unproblematic or very problematic depending on the situation. And the worry you may feel can be justified and valid or just in your head. There is no simple and easy way to adress this, rather than the basic, have an adult conversation with the person close to you who sell sex about your thoughts and concerns. But do it in a respectful way and be informed. Ask yourself, is this relevant for me or should we focus on the need of the person selling sex? How can I be supportive rather than judging?

Maybe you do not know that the person is selling sex, just suspecting it? Or maybe you have found out somehow. There are many reasons to adress this. It’s ok to ask as long as it is done without judgement but with love and care. Before you do this, maybe book a free consultation with our counseller? Click here to learn more.
